At the age of four JW Jaeger got his first Drum Set as a Christmas present from his parents. He’s been playing everything he can get his hands on since. “I started in the local middle school band in the 6th grade. I originally wanted to play trombone”. My Dad wasn’t letting that happen since he was a drummer himself. JW was always the youngest member in every group he ever played in which gave him a true insight to the music business at a very young age. While JW was in high school he was a part of the Olympia High School “Jazz 1” the top Big Band in the state of Florida. After JW graduated high school, He went to work for Walt Disney World as a Drummer and Performer with “Mulch, Sweat and Shears” Walt Disney’s own “Bandscapers”. JW has been on staff as a house drummer and percussionist at First Baptist Church Orlando (a mega church). He has shared the stage with Al Denson (Contemporary Christian Hall of Fame Member), Kari Jobe, Michael Boggs of “FFH”, and Michael Passions “Avalon”. JW in 2010 joined the US Army as a bandsman. While in the Army JW was a member of the USO Tour band “USA Express” opening for artist Toby Keith, Chris Young, James Otto and Zac Brown Band. JW also spent 2 years in the prestigious 82nd Airborne Band from Ft. Bragg NC. JW now is on the road with Inpop Recording artist Karyn Williams from Nashville, TN and is the touring drummer for the Country music Hall of Fame Act “The Oak Ridge Boys”. “I am honored and excited to be a part of the DrumTac family and can say this product has changed the way I Tune my Drums”! My sound guys LOVE every bit of the Drumtac’s, and they are always in my bag at every event.
